Aditi De is a Bangalore-based author, dreamer, traveller and editor. She loves children and the world of the word. In 1989, she launched Junior Quest, the popular magazine from the Chandamama group, and later edited the Open Sesame children’s supplement at the Deccan Herald. Her books include A Twist in the Tale: More Indian Folktales, Jawaharlal nehru: The Jewel of India. She has written children’s columns for Chatterbox magazine, Deccan Chronicle and Young World. Cultural journalism has been her forte since her stints at Indian Express, Chennai, and Deccan Herald, Bangalore. Her passions in life include travel, interacting with creative people engaged in the arts, crafts and textiles, and sharing special time with children.
